“Lincoln’s Clubbing Reinvented… Forever”

Tokyo Industries have set their sights on Lincoln City, taking ownership of the 116 year old ‘Constitutional Club’ (A beautiful grade II listed building situated at the heart of the city) Once a hub of activity with it’s Ballroom and Debating Chambers, the Hall will finally, again be an integral and iconic venue.

 

Ben Webb has worked closesly with ‘The Inside Mole’ on ’The Feature Film’ although he is predominantly a Documentry Filmmaker and has been capturing the development of Tokyo Lincoln by way of Photographs accompanied by a series of video episodes and so has been involved with the project from the beginning. As the Club’s huge opening weekend loomed Ben Webb had suggested the idea of a short Trailer/Advert. The timescale was incredibly short but not impossible and so a collaboration was the best option.

From the very first telephone conversation, Ben Webb was clear that he had a vision of a beautiful young woman walking through the unfinished club and ultimately smashing a disco ball. We met and further discussed ideas along with confirming the stunning Melanie Kollatou (Miss Lincolnshire 2011) along with a quality soundtrack by way of Tom Staar’s remix of Toy Tigers’ single ‘Golden’. From that point, just 3 days were spent developing the Concept, Storyboarding, Shooting, Editing and Finally it’s Release.
